Stay in the heart of the Slovak Paradise, from where you can take easy walks as well as more challenging hikes to the gorges of the Slovak Paradise. You can indulge in cycling and in winter you can enjoy great skiing.<span>The cottage offers several floors and rooms with a capacity of up to 25 people and is equipped with everything you need. </span><span>In addition, it is surrounded by a beautiful exterior with a large area for entertainment or relaxation. </span><span>You will love it here, because you are in the lap of nature in a peaceful and quiet place. </span><span>The accommodation is great for families with children and large groups, for people who are not looking for the comfort of accommodation, but the beauty of nature, peace and a place to relax.
The cottage is located approx. 3 km from the village of Smižany on the edge of the recreation area Košiarny briežok on the border of the Slovak Paradise National Park. The town of Spišská Nová Ves is about 5 km away. It is placed right next to the cycling and hiking trail. Access to the cottage is through the village of Smižany - Smižianska Maša by car (also by bus) and you can reach the cottage directly on a paved forest road. The road is maintained even in winter. It is located in a quiet area near the forest.

Over time the river formed a mountain gorge with spectacular waterfalls (including those of Sokolia Dolina), which helps make the Slovak Paradise so special. In this area you can find many rock formations, caverns and caves (including the Dobšinská Ice Cave, the cave of Stratenská, The Bear's Cave and Devil's Grotto). Close to the National Park there are a number of cities with historic sights including Smižany (3 km), Spišská Nová Ves (8 km), Markušovce (13.5 km), Spis Štvrtok (9 km), and tourist centers like Čingov (1 km) Kláštorisko, Podlesok and Dedinky (35 km). From the house you can follow trails far into the environment to places like Levoca (15 km), the High Tatras, Low Tatras, Pieniny, Spiš Castle and Plejsy. For a touch of culture you can take trips to the impressive ruins of the castle of Spišské hrad, the walled town of Levoca (15 km) with its mansions dating from the 15th century, or learn about local history at the red monastery of Cerveny Klastor. A visit to the mining city of Rožňava (60 km) or the mausoleum of the Hungarian Andrassy family will surely prove to be a delight. For nature lovers, a trip to the ice cave of Dobšinská (45 km) should also be on the schedule. Aquapark Poprad is only 25 km away. The epitome of a relaxing holiday without having to drive as the landlord can arrange a trip by (mini-) bus, with or without a personal guide. The owner has both the equipment and staff for this.

Sleeping in the hay
The apartment is accessible from the month of June, as there is no heating.
It can accommodate 2 people. A separate bathroom is available directly from the room. There is also the possibility of extra beds in this part(two bunk beds).

-In case of non-compliance with the stated principles, we reserve the right not to accommodate the stated groups, despite the paid deposit.
