The villa is in a secular pine forest with about 1200 sq.m. of a private fenced garden and is about 300 meters from the sea.Customers can access to the beach to the north of Marina di Castagneto which is a coastal area of approximative 10.000 sqm. There is also an enclosed botanical garden with information boards describing the plants and flowers.
The garden is well maintained whilst retaining its natural state.
For the use of the guest there are picnic tables and benches made of driftwood and equipped with water and light.

You also have plenty of choice when it comes to hiking, cycling and mountain bike trails or you can visit nature reserves (L'Oasi di Bolgheri) or archaeological sites in the area. There are even beautiful beaches with really clear seas which are ideal for swimming, windsurfing and a variety of other water sports. In Baratti and San Vincenzo you will find diving schools. You can take excursions to famous cities like Florence, Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Mssima Marittima, Perugia and Assisi. Elba Island is located 45 km away and is accessible by ferry, so you can bring your car. There are several stables that offer horseback riding. Children will also find plenty of opportunity to enjoy themselves, for example at the water park in Cecina or the adventure park of Il Cavallino Matto in Castagneto Carducci.
Every Sunday morning at 11:00, beginning from June the 8th, the owner organize guided tours in the botanical garden“La Soldanella". The tours last approximately one hour, depending on the season and which plants and flowers are in bloom and are free of charge.

The kitchen is fully equipped including 2 electric rings, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine (Italian moka and filter machine) and dishwasher.
The apartment has air conditioning for the cold months of the year and for the summertime.
There is parking space in the villa’s enclosed garden.
