The estate is an ideal starting point for a holiday rich in nature, art, food and wine tasting.
The Tenuta di Corbara lies on a narrow strip of land called Pagliano, situated at the confluence of the Tiber and Paglia rivers. It has been known since ancient times for its archaeological remains. To gain access to the archaeological site, please inquire at the reception.
Just a few kilometres from the estate you can visit the Tiber River Park and the Oasis of Alviano, with their stationery and migratory bird life.
Also nearby is the magnificent Orvieto, which is full of hamlets, castles, cemeteries, temples and tunnels. A true treasure of history and art.
A few kilometres away from the estate lies the elegant medieval town of Todi, situated on the top of a hill overlooking the beautiful valley of the Tiber, one of the most fascinating tourist destinations in Umbria. This town has a great wine tradition.
In Piazza del Popolo, the ancient seat of the Roman forum, you can visit the main monuments: the Duomo, the Palazzo dei Priori, Palazzo del Capitano and the Palazzo del Popolo and alternate your cultural sightseeing with pleasant stops in cafés or at one of the typical shops to buy handmade cloths.
