If you prefer, you can walk to the center (2.4 km) within 15 to 20 minutes. 200 meters away you will find a beautiful park and vineyard from where you have a fantastic view of the city. This accommodation makes a perfect base for those who would like to discover all the beauty of Prague. Most sights can be reached on foot. -- In the vicinity there are also numerous bars and restaurants. 100 meters away there is a grocery store. -- We encourage you to park your car in the private garage (for a fee).

Only 200 meters away you will find the beautiful Havlíkovy Sady park from where you have a fantastic view of the city and vineyards. Just around the corner there is a squash and fitness center. -- In Prague you won't need a car. Most of the sights can be reached on foot, sometimes aided by public transportation: metro, tram or taxi. There is a tram stop just 3 minutes away, where 3 lines converge. -- The best way to visit Prague is on foot as the historic center is a mixture of narrow streets with pedestrian zones. The owner of the apartment is a recognized leader and can show you the real face of Prague. He can guide you to places full of history and culture and can tell you a lot about Czech culture, language and folklore. He speaks fluent Dutch and Czech as well as English and some Italian.- On a list of things you should not miss: Hradcany (Prague Castle), Strahov Monastery and Petřín Hill, the Mala Strana district (Lesser Town), Charles Bridge spanning the Vltava River, the Josefov district (Jewish Quarter), Stare Mesto (Old Town) with its square and, of course, Wenceslas Square, the starting point and shopping center of Prague. A few ideas for day trips: the impregnable castle of Karlstejn in Beroun (35 km), the well-preserved castle of Křivoklád which dates from the 15th century (40 km), the reservoir in Moldavia (25 km), Konopistě Castle, once owned by Franz Ferdinand of Austria (40 km), the medieval castle of Cesky Sternberk (40 km), the caves at Koněprusy, the royal and silver town of Kutna Hora (55 km) with its silver mine and Barbora Gothic Cathedral, and Theresia City, a former concentration camp (55 km).

The Blue Apartment is located on the fourth floor, but a member of the staff can help you with your luggage. The hallway leads to a spacious living room which contains a sitting area and a couch that converts to a 2-person bed. The apartment also has a radio with CD player, a TV and another sofa. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-hob gas stove, an electric oven, extraction fan, microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator plus has sufficient cabinet space and a sitting area. In the bedroom you'll find a double bed and a single bed. The bathroom has a tub, sink and toilet. The apartment is well-suited for 3 persons (maximum of 6 persons).
