Tuscany is one of the most important Italian regions. As a result of its history and strong cultural / linguistic unity, it is also one of the Italian regions with the oldest and most defined identity.
Lapped by the Ligurian Sea in its north-central part and by the Tyrrhenian Sea to the south, Tuscany is typified by a continental coastline that is quite diversified in its characteristics. The Farmhouse is located in the town of Massa Marittima, which provides the opportunity to visit beautiful churches like the Church of Santissima Annunziata and the Church of Santa Maria Assunta. Museum lovers can visit the Archaeological Museum or the Museum of Sacred Art, for example.
Twice a year (in May and August), in the old town center, an event is held known as the Balestro del Girifalco. It is one of the largest historical re-enactments of medieval Tuscany.
This area is part of the Natural Park of Maremma: here you will find intense aromatic herbs, colorful berries and the sounds of animals. The park welcomes its visitors with its sweet, but wild side. A clash of elements that will make you feel as if you're living in a newly-found paradise!
